Me and My Umbrella: Essences' Fall Collection

Hallo Zusammen! News like this is the best you can get in the hot month of August--Autumn is around the corner! Autumn is my favorite season; nothing beats cuddling up on a cold October night watching a football game with a hot cup of cider. I know it sounds cliche, but it really is a beautiful time of year and I love it more than anything. Here's a little fact about me: my house is always decorated for fall. 365 days a year you'll find garlands of oak leaves and ceramic pumpkins littering every nook and cranny in my home. Daniel and I often find ourselves craving pumpkin lattes in July. But enough about that, let's talk about Essence. Time for the product break down!

First of all, the packaging in this whole collection is just adorable. I think Essence does the best job at designing packaging in the drugstore. I really like these eyeshadows too, they are matt with a creamy texture and come in two colors, 01be your own rainbow and 02 take me to the clouds.

Next up is something I've never heard of, eyebrow powder in a tube! This one comes with a sponge applicator, which is something I have personally never used to fill in my brows. I guess we'll have to give this one a test! It comes in two colors, 01 brighter than sunshine (blonde) and 02 walking on the rainbow (brunette).

I have always loved the matt lipsticks from Essence, and the colors being released with this collection are absolutely gorgeous. I love wearing a dark lip in Autumn, it just sets the mood for cozy nights and walks through crunchy leaves. I believe these are the same formula as their other matt lipsticks, just in two new colors. They come in 01 crazy autumn love and 02 i <3 rainy days.

We know I'm not a gloss person, so there isn't much to say about this. It's a clear gloss that is supposedly weather proof. Comes in one shade, 01 dancing in the rain.

I love this blush, the stamp on the inside is just so cute. The color is nice also, and I've already said how much I love the packaging. It comes in one color, 01 you can stand under my umbrella.

A cute little set of highlight and contour sticks-perfect for travel! I'm hoping the formula is good on these, I always love to try out new contour products. I can't tell much about the shades, so let's hope its a good match! Available in 01 let a smile be your umbrella on a rainy day.

Always nice to add a new brush to my collection, even though I am particularly partial to my Real Techniques for contouring. I'm always open to trying new things. This brush is called I like people who smile when it's raining.

The bottles of these polishes are adorable, and that's the only reason why I'm going to pick them up. I work in a kitchen, so nail polish is forbidden for health reasons. I love the colors, so maybe my toes will get a nice coat of paint, despite being hidden inside fuzzy boots all Autumn! It comes in 4 colors 01 crazy autumn love, 02 i love rainy days, 03 take me to the clouds and 04 i have my pocket full of sunshine. It also includes a top coat with a wet-look effect which leaves tiny raindrops on your nails. Cute!

These may be one of the only sets of nail stencils that I pick up, because I can't pass up having pretty Autumn leaves on my nails. So cute! Available in 01 happiness is sharing my umbrella with you.

And this is just hand sanitizer, which is always useful. I personally prefer the scented hand sanitizers from Bath and Body Works, of which I have a stock of to last me year-round. This comes in one variety 01 dancing in the rain.
