Hello again my friends, I am seriously getting excited for this launch, aren't you? I love new products, especially ones that I don't have something similar to in my collection. This time we're talking about eyes, of course one of my favorite product lines. I'm really excited for part 6, where I get to share with you the most exciting news coming from this update. But we'll get to that in time, let's get in to these awesome eye products!

The Cushion Eyeliner: So this is something that really peaked my interest; a cushion eyeliner?! I've got gel, pencil, liquid, pen, but cushion? How cool is that! Apparently this is a big trend over in Asia, and is basically just a sponge soaked in black liquid liner. I'm so interested in learning more about how this works, and I'll definitely let you guys know! Retail Price: 2,99€.

Totally me! Eyeshadow topcoat: I picked up one of the eyeshadow top coats from Essence's Winter Glow collection (still available), however I wasn't all that impressed with it. Honestly, I see it as more of a pretty eyeshadow than any kind of topper, it's not pigmented enough to really do anything. Maybe I'm using it wrong, who knows. Anyway, depending on how these swatch I may end up picking them up, they look like nice colors. Especially the gold! Retail price is 2,29€.

Volume Stylist 18h Curl and Hold Mascara: I'm not going to lie here, I don't know if I'll ever be able to go back to using Essence mascara. I've been spoiled by my Too Faced BTS mascara, which I love to pieces, but also, I've never really been that big of a fan of Essences' mascaras. They do an okay job, but nothing too out of this world, at least not enough to bring me back from BTS. This has a creamy texture with Micro-Styling wax, which is meant to give your lashes lots of volume. Retail Price is 2,99€.

Volume Stylist 18h Lash Extension Mascara: This is basically the same thing as above, just with a different wand. Not much to explain here. Retail price is 2,99€.

Lash Princess Sculpted Mascara: I do like the Lash Princess line, in fact I have one tube of all of them. Maybe I will give the new one a try, for lighter mascara days. This is supposed to give dramatic volume and the brush can separate your lashes well. Retail is 2,99€.

Eye and Face palette: 4 shadows, a blush and a highlight in one palette. Not bad for a small price tag. I have a lot of Essence palettes and I like every one of them, but these are just a little too similar to the other palettes I have both from Essence and other makeup brands. I don't have much information regarding the formula as of late, so I imagine it's the same as the other palettes they release. Retail is 3,99€.

Hi! Lighting eyeshadow mousse: This is another product with a 'cooling' effect, but that'S really all the info I received on these. I'm not a fan of cream shadow simply because it can separate disappear really quickly on my eyes. The shades are really pretty though. Retail is 2,49€.

I love Strobing highlighting eyeshadow base: A shimmery eyeshadow base that can be used alone or under eyeshadow to add a bit of highlight. I own another Essence shadow base, and it really doesn't do much other than crease like crazy and make a mess. Pass! Retail is 2,49€.

Light Up Your Eyes! Inner Rim Eye Pencil: Eyeliners specifically made for the waterline to brighten and highlight the eyes. I always add white liner into my waterline to make my eyes appear bigger, so I think I'll give these a go. The white shade is the only one that looks appealing to me, I'm not a fan of pink under my eyes. Retail is 1,49€.

Sculpting Eye Pencil: Last but not least we have these eye pencils. Everyone knows how much I love my Essence the Gel Eyeliner, I use it almost every day and it never fails me. If these liners are anything like that one, I'll be in heaven. I love the brown and purple shades, something different I can create cool looks with. Here's hoping for a great formulation! Retail is 2,29€.
That's it for the eye portion of this brand update! Do you own any palettes from Essence? What do you think of these new shades? Let me know below and keep your eyes peeled for part 5 and 6, coming up later today!
