Big News from Essence: Part 6

Hey guys! So here it is, the one we've all being waiting for...part 6: Make Your Own Palette! That's right, Essence is releasing the drugstore version of the M.A.C Pro Palette! I don't know if I've ever been more excited before! I love filling up make your own palettes, and making my Pro Palette was the best birthday present ever! Having an affordable option available is really awesome, and I can tell you now that I'll be sprinting to the Essence Counter as soon as this hits stores. Let's get in to the awesome details!
First, the actual Palettes: We have two options here, an 8 or a 4 palette. They have magnetic click mechanisms to hold your shadows and powders safe and secure, just like the expensive version. I hate to say this, but the packaging does look a little cheap, but who am I to complain when the price tag is so low? The 4 palettes will cost 1,49€ a piece and the 8 palettes will cost 1,99€ a piece. I paid almost 200,00€ for my M.A.C Pro Palette, which I love, but these I can fill up without feeling so guilty!
The best part: 20 new eyeshadow shades! You heard it here first folks, not only are we receiving these awesome palettes, but we're getting 20, count em' 20 NEW shades to fill them with! The shades range from neutral to bright and come in different finishes I.E Metallic or Matte. This means you would only need two 8 palettes and one 4 palette to get all the shades. So, the shades cost 1,49€. Let's round the 8 palette to 2,00€ and everything else to 1,50€. So for the palettes you've got a cost of 5,50€ for 20 slots and for the shades you'd pay 30,00€ so for the entire eyeshadow collection, it would cost you around 35,50€, less than half the price of what I paid for a single Pro Palette. Wow! Awesome deal, right? Plus, we already know that Essence delivers some serious quality in their shadows. Yay!
OMG What?! Face Powders too?! That's right folks, this release brings us an awesome selection of eyeshadow shades, plush NEW blushes, NEW bronzers, A highlighter and a setting powder! Even the expensive version doesn't have that! 1 highlighter, one bronzer, one setting powder and 5 blushes in two different finishes, satin and matt. How much more amazing could this be? They cost the same as the shadows and fit right in to your palette! Can you say AMAZING for travel? If you wanted to get every face powder essence has, you#d only have to purchase an 8 palette for 2,00€ and the shades for 1,50€ each. So thats 2,00€+8*1,50€=14,00€ for 5 blushes, a highlighter, bronzer and setting powder! Um, wow!
And last but not least, something I've never heard of ever before, a lip powder. That'S right, you can even make your own lip palette. I can't speak for the formula on these because I've never used a powder lipstick before, but I can definitely give you guys a review as soon as I get my hands on them. They are all Matte I believe, and there are 3 shades plus a base. Perfect to fill up another 4 palette and still be under 100,00€. A crazy good deal if you ask me. These also cost 1,49€ just like the other products.
